Criteria for this honor is based on Endowment contributions, membership production and attendance at quarterly Celebrations (men and women). Bellflower topped all three categories. On April 19th, during the visit of Supreme Governor Danny Albert, Bellflower was presented with a Certificate of Recognition and a Mooseheart NJROTC Military Ball banner signed by all the cadets. Latest News 11/07/2014 Congratulations Ed Henry - New Pilgrim Congratulations Ed Henry - New Pilgrim Friday, November 7, 2014 It was an honor to celebrate the Pilgrim Ceremony, for Ed Henry. The ceremony was beautiful. The attendees dressed so nice and the food was wonderful. We as a lodge could not have honored Ed in such a marvelous way without everyone coming together, working long hours to make it a magical night. Mary Binkley handled the invitations, Ben Pendleton and Malinda Deniz were our mentors, Paula and Tony Cairo and Sara Angulo put together the stunning decorations, Jerri Jo Elliot and Jacque Noyes and Heather Griscom handled the seating and serving (a big Thank You for that). In the kitchen we had Cindy Mirabel, Desiree O’Dell, Kim Yeager, Mary Kelly, Linda Diebel and I, dishing food, running food and coordinating the volunteers. (Who came from the local Bellflower Volunteer Center). We hope to do more ventures with them in the future. Gail Diebel 11/07/2014 Congratulations! Congratulations! Friday, November 7, 2014 Congratulations to our Brother Robert (Bob) Doty, HUB District 18’s new President. 11/05/2012 From the Desk of the Junior Graduate Regent From the Desk of the Junior Graduate Regent Monday, November 5, 2012 Dear Friends, To begin with, I can’t believe we are almost at the end of this year. We have accomplished so much and had fun doing it, but yet we have so much more we want to do by May 2013, when the new Board of Officers come in. Everybody, and I mean everybody, has helped in one way or another. Think "Cooperation" that’s what makes this Lodge, or any organization for that matter, strong and successful. Just a reminder to all, everything done at the Lodge is volunteered, (except the bartenders) and believe me it is greatly appreciated by everyone. "Here" nobody is obligated to do anything. We accept whatever you can and often to do to help in any capacity you can choose to do. On September 8th my husband Richard drove to Reno, NV to the State Conference. There I got my Green Cap on Sunday the 9th. It was a beautiful, well organized and impressive ceremony. From there we drove crosscountry to Chicago, IL (I’ve never seen so many cornfields in my life. Ha ha!). One of my main priorities was to visit Mooseheart. It was one of those most unbelievable sights, enormous, beautiful and well kept. The Superintendent himself gave us a tour of the classrooms. To see what I saw is to believe. The superintendent himself was once a child at the school. God Bless you, Elizabeth DuFault Junior Graduate Regent 11/05/2012 Sickness and Distress Sickness and Distress Monday, November 5, 2012 Connie Jo Duffy is at home and doing better. Joyce Snider is home and doing well, she was at the Lodge this past weekend. George Le Faive was in the hospital for a brief stay, having problems breathing, but he’s back at the Royal Wood Health Care Center. I spoke with Dennis Freeman on October 15, 2012 at the Lodge and he stated that he’s getting treatment at St. Jude for his cancer and doing well as expected and says hello to everyone of our members and co-workers. Larry Phillips seems to be doing much better now. In fact he was at the Lodge for dinner. We are so happy to see Billie Brinsfield back and working at the Lodge after a few stays in the hospital. She’s happy to be back at work and full of smiles, we surely missed that beautiful smile.
